Brett Evans is the Managing Director for the Europe, Middle East and African region (EMEA) and a Financial Planner with Atlas Wealth Management which is the first financial services firm in Australia to specialise in providing financial advice to Australian expatriates. With over 20 years of experience in the finance and investments industry, Brett has worked for blue chip companies which include the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX), HSBC, Suncorp and Citi Smith Barney.
He first became an expat at 6 months of age when his father was transferred to Tucson, Arizona with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). He also spent his junior years at high school in Hong Kong before relocating back to Australia.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, a Professional Diploma in Stockbroking and has completed coursework at the New York Institute of Finance.
He was voted as one of the 50 most influential advisers in Australia for 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021 as part of the Financial Standard’s Power 50 list.
James is the Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region and is an experienced financial planner who brings a multitude of skills and experience to the table when it comes to providing Australian expat financial advice. After completing university, James was an accountant for four years at which point he then moved into the financial services sector and became a financial planner.
Combining his accounting skills with financial advice, James has advised individuals, families, and Self Managed Super Fund clients in the areas of retirement planning, debt reduction, cash flow management and portfolio management.
James holds a Bachelor of Commerce with an accounting major, Bachelor of Business with a marketing major, Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and is currently completing his Masters of Financial Planning.
Jeremy Harper is the Managing Director and Mortgage Broker for Atlas Mortgages.
He assists Australian expats in securing or refinancing an Australian mortgage on their Australian properties.
