The Australia Awards
The Australian Business community in the UAE have run various awards over the years that recognise the contribution of outstanding business people within our community. Following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, we are excited to re-launch the Australian Business Person of the Year for 2022 with the Australian Business Group, Abu Dhabi.
This year we have expanded the award categories by adding the 2022 Community Engagement Award and the 2022 AUS-UAE Legacy Award, to reflect a broader acknowledgment of the impact of Australians in the UAE.
The awards recognise the outstanding contributions, reputation, and ethics of the nominees in their respective categories, either throughout the previous calendar year or in the case of the Legacy Award, over the course of the previous ten years. Alongside yourself, we are inviting leaders of the Australian business community to judge the award including representatives from Dubai Chamber, Abu Dhabi Chamber, Austrade, AACCI, AUSUAE Business Council, and our previous winners.
